
Walk in the centre of Lom
Fossbergom is the local name of Lom who is famous for its architecture. "Bergomsrunda" is a nice walk by foot in the national park village. The route connects the city center and attractions in a good way and you`re covering everything worth seeing. The walk is about 2,5 km long.
Disbursements bridge, built as the first bridges in the country, connects the city center and church mound. On the bridge you come close to the river Bøvra, leading water from the glaciers to the lake.
"Vassvaglen" stands in the city center to remind us of how water flows were led into the fields and meadows.
Fosssheim Stone Centre han a unique collection of minerals from around the world.
The mejestic Lomskyrkja tells an 850-year history of life in the villages here.
On the other side of the road you find the Norwegian Mountain Museum and Jotunheimen National Park Centre with its exhibitions and tourist information.
During the walk you`ll be visiting Presthaugen, the peaceful park area to the Lom District Museum.
