Jotunheimen National Park is one of Norways first and most distinctive national parks. To reach the top of Galdhøpiggen, Norway`s highest mountain, 2469 m.o.h is a goal for many of our guests. A large web of hiking routs gives you good opportunities to experience nature. The area has uniq possibilities for cross country skiing and alpine skiing in the summertime.
With us you can feel the joy of measuring muscles with nature and the satisfaction of mastering a challenge. The choice is yours!
Fossheim works together with Naturopplevingar which organizes happenings and activities for organizations, private groups and individual travellers.

Trips in the nearby area.

The center of Lom and Fossheim is a really good starting point for several nature-and culture paths in the nearby area. The paths has different degrees of difficulty and length. In particular we would like to mention the path up to Soleggen. Along the path you`ll find 20 different signs that tells the story of how this area was used in the old times, flora and fauna. Other paths leads up to the majestic Lomseggen, or across the river along the water towards Skjåk or to the top of Tronoberget. All these trips suits well as an exercise in the afternoon or as a daytrip for the whole family. You can get more information about the trips by asking in the reception or at the tourist office.
